Members & friends are invited to attend our regular Monthly Meeting for fun & friendship. All doll lovers welcome!    ‘Australian Dolls’ Theme

 

. Cost $4 per person towards hall hire
. Raffle Tickets $2 each (multiple prizes)
. Free Tea & coffee available. BYO lunch & coffee mug. No sharing of food is allowed due to Covid regulations.
. Competition ‘Dolls Made in Australia’– Our fabulous country has produced some beautiful dolls – from the composition Hush-A-Bye dolls (by Laurie Cohen) of the WWII Years, to Vera Kent dolls, Nylex (Rubber factory in Melbourne), Cherubs (to rival UK Pedigrees), ‘Joanne’ Walking dolls of the 1950’s, Peerless, Metti (or Netta), there are lots to choose from!!!  Dig out your favourite & charm the Members for their vote for 1st or 2nd Place!! Displays to accompany the doll & create a setting are most welcome!!
. Workshop – This year our workshop is to create a beautiful Parian Doll like our logo. Cost is $30 for the kit. Instructions will be given at each meeting with the doll to be worked on both at the meetings and at home. A competition will be held for the finished dolls at our Christmas luncheon. Not too late to start!
. Donated Dolls & Members Doll Sale (by prior arrangement with the President) will be held after the meeting. Please bring CA$H as no EFTPOS facilities are available.
. Our extensive Library is on site & may be accessed on the day.
Please assist us with tidying up afterwards including wiping down tables & chairs to abide with Covid regulations.      Hope to see you all there!
