Clayfield’s ‘Bar-Jai’Community Hall was full to the brim with Members keen to continue on with their “Attic Doll” making workshop, with a new face or two as well. This was a bit of an impromptu Workshop Part 2 as we were meant to be making necklaces for our 40th Birthday dolls but after May’s meeting at Loganlea it was obvious the ladies wanted to keep on with the Attic Dolls while their creativity was booming! And create they did!!! This time, as well as adding gold to the legs from last workshop, we made a start on the face & fingernails. Still a bit of work to be done at the next meeting, though….

The Monthly Competition of ‘Western’ theme proved very popular, with the wonderful Pedigree ‘Annie Oakley’ doll complete with horse taking out the 1st Place. Congratulations to the winner!

One of our original Founding Members & renowned Doll Expert/Author – Marjory Fainges gave some fabulous tips on doll cleaning & restoration – details can be found in the June 2016 Meeting Minutes. All are looking forward to our 40th Birthday celebration in October!
